The Challenges of Life
The last few weeks have been difficult. I don’t think that as an Autistic individual, we talk about how limited our energy can be at times. Many factors contribute to this: family life, life in general. I can get overwhelmed easily. I have great focus sometimes, but it’s on one thing that is often what my mind chooses vs what I choose, if that makes sense. Recently, with everything going on in the world and dealing with normal family life as a father, I have become overwhelmed. In this state, the energy is sucked out of you. It’s like you are on cruise control; you can do what is needed, but outside of that, there is no energy. Nothing left for creativity or fun. I find myself in this state more than I would like these days. As a content creator, it makes it challenging to produce content during these times.
